We’re excited to share that as of November 18th, 2024, Bar Citizens International is officially recognized by the U.S. government as a charitable nonprofit.

Why This Matters:

This status helps us do more for the community:

• Keep the site running and cover operational costs

• Support local coordinators with venue help and resources

• Launch new programs that educate and enhance the Bar Citizen experience

• Accept tax-deductible donations (for U.S. residents)

• Access software and services at discounted nonprofit rates

For Our Supporters:

• U.S. residents can now deduct donations on their taxes — and many employers offer matching donations for charitable orgs like ours.

• Non-U.S. residents: your support still helps! Even international donations won’t be taxed.
