February 2025 Update!

What a long and strange journey it has been getting Bar Citizens International off the landing pad!

• Delays were experienced last year as we worked really hard to make Bar CitizenCon Week happen. The difficulties we faced coordinating that event were something else. Many of our carefully laid plans ended up being disrupted and modified on site at the last minute. But, the exposure then and at our booth at CitizenCon generated a lot of interest which we hope will enable us to build out our team.

• Part of the team we will be working to build up will consist of social media management, front end developers, another sysadmin or two, some Discord/Discord bot specialists, a US Legal Lead, an HR lead, and Training lead. All persons, as is the current board, will be volunteers only!

• Everyone who works on this project is a volunteer and has to balance work, family, this project (and, of course, some time in Star Citizen). There were many personal challenges by team members since CitizenCon which we are hopeful were left in the past.

• We, finally, have moved from a private member's home server to a contracted server and have migrated our tools. Unfortunately, much of the work on the previous website that was under construction was lost and we are having to begin from scratch!

 So, please be patient as we build out our organization and continue work on this website!
